1. Library Relocation
In July 2009 a local education establishment needed to move the entire collection of books and furniture out of the library to allow for refurbishment and subsequently move back again. Most important was the requirement to pack all books in shelf position order and carefully label so that upon re-stowing, the library could continue operating immediately as if nothing ever happened. The entire operation was carried out in two waves over a four day period and was completed perfectly on time. The quality feedback report read as follows:

2. Medium Sized Office Move.
In May 2009 Kelly's were delighted to be awarded the office moving contract for on-line insurance company, Swiftcover.com. The insurance company, recognised by current TV advertisements featuring Iggy Pop, is growing fast and needed to relocate it's head offices in Surrey.
As a specialist on-line quote provider of car and home insurance, it was essential for swiftcover.com to have their business relocated on-time and without problems to ensure business continuity was maintained. At the initial planning and consultation stage, Kelly's were able to provide best advice to ensure the objectives would be achieved. Everything went well on the moving day, without hiccups, and Kelly's team of professional movers finished the relocation ahead of schedule. The facilities manager of swiftcover.com wrote:

3. Car Dealership Relocations.
A large motor retailer needed to relocate two separate dealerships from different locations into one supersite. This commercial relocation included the co-ordinated transfer from both sites of all workshop tools and equipment, including some heavy lift items, parts stocks, administration office furniture and paper records and showroom furniture. Critical to this project was the transfer of the vast parts stock which included anything from tiny nuts and bolts through large metal body panels (which were vulnerable to transit damage risk). Each item of stock carried unique reference and location numbers so packing (by Kelly's in partnership with client staff) had to be done in a specific order with each transport crate remaining clearly marked to enable exact filing position at final location. The vast stock had to be moved during the weekend and repositioned to ensure the wholesale distribution parts department could continue trading again on Monday morning.
Because there were several departments involved (parts, car sales, administration and workshop) Kelly's suggested and hosted pre-move briefing meetings with all key persons and management. This proved a useful exercise as all parties knew exactly what was going to happen during the moving process and the responsibilities of each department and staff member.
The move was completed successfully on time and since that occasion the motor company has used Kelly's on three further occasions upon acquiring new businesses.
4. Large Corporate Headquarters Relocation.
A shipping line needed to relocate its entire headquarters locally in Surrey. Total volume transferred required 25 articulated lorry loads over a 5 day period employing 20 men per day. Client provided several months months notice which enabled a number of meetings to be held between client and Kelly's thus resulting in very detailed planning to be achieved. The project was completed exactly on time.
