Options available for getting your furniture into storage:

1) Fully managed removal where we come to your house, do all the packing, heavy lifting, stowing and transport your goods back to our warehouse.

2) Partially managed removal, as above but you do the packing prior to our arrival. Packing materials can be purchased from Kelly’s if you don’t have any.

3) Self storage, DIY removals where you bring goods to our warehouse using your own transport. We position the storage containers by the back doors of your vehicle eliminating long carries or walking up stairs.

During a slow moving house market, furniture storage can be an excellent tool to speed up property sale transactions. Firstly for sellers, the opportunity to de-clutter the home will improve the presentation and help the 'blank canvass' appeal those potential buyers are naturally attracted to. In addition, short term storage can also be helpful if you need to redecorate the home. Repainting the walls with a neutral colour such as magnolia is an excellent way to quickly and economically freshen the place up and remove current personalised decor (you might like it but your buyers might not).

Furniture Storage Warehouse in Guildford, Surrey

These images help demonstrate the furniture storage systems used by Kelly's in Guildford, Surrey.  We use wooden storage units (store containers) with an internal loading capacity of approximately 250 cubic feet (7 cubic meters).  Most standard household and commercial furniture items will fit into the containers including 3 seater sofas, wall units, double beds, wardrobes, fridge freezers, dining tables, desks, etc.  The approximate dimensions of the storage containers are 5ft wide x 7ft deep x 7ft high.  If there are any items that do not fit into the standard containers (i.e. canoes, windsurfers, extention ladders), we can accomodate these oversized items on specially designed storage racks in our warehouse.
